About this book

This is not a grammar book. It is, as its title implies, a collection of language drills. It carries 208 set phrases of sentence starters. Each sentence starter is enriched with 10 example sentences to make it vivid clear. It is designed to help our Myanmar students to correct the bad habits they may have acquired in the course of their English studies, where their end-goals seem only for passing an exam. It is too bad that structural approach is introduced to the student from the very beginning. Grammar is useful for making a language sound correct, but not for actually getting started.
